Skin Disease Detection and Classification Using CNN Convolutional Neural Network Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project

ABSTRACT

              Skin diseases are hazardous and often contagious, especially melanoma, eczema, and impetigo. These skin diseases can be cured if detected early. The fundamental problem with it is, only an expert dermatologist is able to detect and classify such disease. Sometimes, the doctors also fail to correctly classify the disease and hence provide inappropriate medications to the patient. Our research proposes a skin disease detection method based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) Techniques. Our system is Personal Computer based so can be used even in remote areas. The patient needs to provide the image of the infected area and it is given as an input to the application. Image Processing and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) techniques process it and deliver the accurate output.

Medical Image Compression Using Wavelet Transform Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project

ABSTRACT

            The medical image compression is that allows the original data to be perfectly reconstructed from the compressed data. Lossless compression programs do two things in sequence: the first step generates a statistical model for the input data, and the second step uses this model to map input data to bit sequences in such a way that probable. The main objective of image compression is to decrease the redundancy of the image data which helps in increasing the capacity of storage and efficient transmission. Medical image compression aids in decreasing the size in bytes of a digital image without degrading the quality of the image to an undesirable level. Medical image compression plays an important role in computer storage and transmission. The purpose of data compression is that we can reduce the size of data to save storage and reduce time for transmission. Image compression is a result of applying data compression to the digital image. This project is developed in matlab.

Plant Disease Detection Using Image Processing Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project Code

ABSTRACT

            The detection and classification of plant diseases are the crucial factors in plant production and the reduction of losses in crop yield. This project proposes an approach for plant leaf disease detection and classification on plants using image processing. The plant disease diagnosis is restricted by person’s visual capabilities as it is microscopic in nature. Due to optical nature of plant monitoring task, computer visualization methods are adopted in plant disease recognition. The aim is to detect the symptoms of the disease occurred in leaves in an accurate way. Once the captured image is pre-processed, the various properties of the plant leaf such as intensity, color and size are extracted and sent to with Image Processing for classification and the disease are detected. This project is developed in matlab.

Fingerprint Recognition Using Image Processing Matlab Project With Source Code

ABSTRACT

        Recently, monitoring and security have become an essential and important affair because the number of counterfeiters and hacker are increased for the conventional methods like Personal Identification Number (PIN) and passwords. The traditional methods suffer from some type of contraventions and breaches for example the unauthorized user can arrive to important data in a dedicated system to delete, change, or even steal it. For averting whole these concerns; the modern community directs to more credibility methods recently utilize the biometric-technologies. Biometrics provides more secure way of person authentication, they are difficult to be stolen and replicated. Biometrics method can be depicted as an automate technique to recognize person automatically based on his or her behavioral and/or physiological features. This technology has possessed a big amount of concern and care for security in almost all aspects of our daily life since person cannot forget or lose their physiological features in the way that they might lose password or an identity card. Biometric technologies have been developed for automatic recognizing of human identity depending on person special biological features, such as face, Iris, speech and fingerprint. The online security of authentication systems is not only a substitution of secret codes and passwords, but it is also related to securing and monitoring the system in different level of potential applications. This project was analyzed and evaluation Uni-modal biometric system based on fingerprint identification system.

             Lung cancer prevalence is one of the highest of cancers. One of the first steps in lung cancer diagnosis is sampling of lung tissues or biopsy. These tissue samples are then microscopically analyzed. This procedure is taken once imaging tests indicate the presence of cancer cells in the chest. Lung cancer diagnosis using lung images. One of them is that doctor still relies on subjective visual observation. A medical specialist must do thorough observation and accurate analysis in detecting lung cancer in patients. Hence, there is need for a system that is capable for detecting lung cancer automatically from microscopic images of biopsy. This method will improve the efficiency for lung cancer detection. The aim of this project is to design a lung cancer detection system based on analysis of ct image of lung using digital image processing. A medical specialist must do thorough observation and accurate analysis in detecting lung cancer in patients. Hence, there is need for a system that is capable for detecting lung cancer automatically from images of lungs. This method will improve the efficiency for lung nodule detection. Maize Leaf Disease Detection Using Image Processing Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project Code

 ABSTRACT

         Crop disease protection is important for global food security, while the recognition of crop diseases at early stage is the key part of disease protection. The traditional identification and detection of crop leaf diseases is carried out by agricultural technicians. The identification and diagnosis of crop leaf disease is of great significance to improve the quality of crop cultivation. Compared with the traditional manual diagnosis method, the automatic identification of crop leaf disease based on computer vision technology has high efficiency and no subjective judgment error. But the traditional image processing technology is affected by different illumination conditions, cross shading. The algorithm's robustness is affected. Because deep learning dose not need to set learning features manually, which greatly improves the recognition efficiency. This project is developed in matlab using image processing.

Heart Disease Detection Using Image Processing Matlab Project with Source Code | Final Year Project

 ABSTRACT

            Modern day lifestyle and our ignorance towards health have put the most vital organ of our body Heart at great risk. India today is witnessing a lot many young people suffering from heart diseases which even lead to untimely demise. Most common heart abnormality includes arrhythmia which is nothing but irregular beating of heart. Going by the trend/statistics, middle aged people (30-45yrs) are at great risk because of high stress in both personal and professional lives. This necessitates the need for a system which can not only detect any anomaly in functioning of our heart but warns us against any threat. Our project is based on developing such a system that can give us prior information about the upcoming threat or the heart disease which we are prone to. Myocardial Infarction is a major kind of abnormal heart activity. An abnormal heart beat is a problem with the heartbeat rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. For the period of an Myocardial Infarction, the heart may beat too fast or too slow, or with an irregular rhythm. Classification of cardiac myocardial infarction is a difficult task. One of the ways to detect cardiac arrhythmia is to use electrocardiogram (ECG) signals images . The ECG is the most important biomedical-signal used by cardiologists for diagnostic purposes. The ECG signal images provides all the required information about the electrical activity of the heart. The early detection of the myocardial infarction can save lives and enhance the quality of living through appreciates treatment.

Pneumonia Detection Using CNN Convolutional Neural Network Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project

 ABSTRACT

           Pneumonia is a life-threatening infectious disease affecting one or both lungs in humans commonly caused by bacteria called Streptococcus pneumonia. The present project aimed to examine the risk factors for death due to pneumonia in young children. One or more in three deaths in Asia is caused due to pneumonia as reported by World Health Organization (WHO). Chest X-Rays which are used to diagnose pneumonia need expert radiotherapists for evaluation. Thus, developing an automatic system for detecting pneumonia would be beneficial and it can save lots of peoples life and help stopping and curing and control for treating the disease without any delay particularly in remote areas. Due to the success of deep learning algorithms in analyzing medical images, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have gained much attention for disease classification. In addition, features learned by pre-trained cnn models on large-scale datasets are much useful in image classification tasks. In this work, we appraise the functionality of cnn models utilized as feature-extractors followed by different classifiers for the classification of abnormal and normal chest x-rays. Lung images parameters extracted and classified using image processing with upto 97% accuracy of this project. This project is implemented to detection of lung nodule of lung samples in matlab.

Leukemia Blood Cancer Detection Using CNN Convolutional Neural Network Matlab Project Source Code | Final Year Project

 ABSTRACT

             Leukemia Blood cancer is the most prevalent and it is very much dangerous among all type of cancers. Early detection of blood cancer has the potential to reduce mortality and morbidity. There are many diagnostic technologies and tests to diagnose blood cancer. However many of these tests are extremely complex and subjective and depend heavily on the experience of the technician. To obviate these problems, image processing techniques is use in this study as promising modalities for detection of Leukemia blood cancer. The accuracy rate of the diagnosis of blood cancer by using image processing will be yield a slightly higher rate of accuracy then other traditional methods and will reduce the effort and time. We first discuss the preliminary of cell biology required to proceed to implement our proposed method. This project presents a new automated approach for blood Cancer detection and analysis from a given photograph of patient’s cancer affected blood sample. The proposed method is using image improvement, image segmentation for segmenting the different cells of blood, edge detection and final decision of blood cancer using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Bone Fracture Detection Using Image Processing Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project

 ABSTRACT

         Analysis of medical images plays a very important role in clinical decision making. For a long time it has required extensive involvement of a human expert. However, recent progress in data mining techniques, especially in machine learning, allows for creating decision models and support systems that help to automatize this task and provide clinicians with patient-specific therapeutic and diagnostic suggestions. Bone fractures are a common problem in humans because of excessive pressure on the bone or accident, and also due to osteoporosis and bone cancer. Therefore, a thorough diagnosis of fractures is an important part of treatment. In this work, x-ray imaging is used to diagnose fractures. The goal of this project is to improve the impressive imaging system based on faster and more accurate separation of bone fractures based on information obtained from x-ray images. In this project, we describe a study aimed at building a decision model (a classifier) that would predict the bone fracture. This project is developed in matlab using image processing.

Acne Disease Detection Using Image Processing Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Project

 ABSTRACT

          Acne is a chronic skin disease occurring from inflammation of pilosebaceous units which are hair follicles under skin and their surrounding sebaceous gland (fatty gland) clog up. Currently, dermatologist has to manually mark a location of acnes on the sheet, then count to quantify and measure treatment progress. This is an unreliable and inaccurate method. Moreover, this method requires dermatologist’s excessive effort. In this project, a novel automatic acne disease detection using Image processing technique is proposed. Acne causes significant physical and psychological problems for patients such as permanent scarring, depression and anxiety from poor self-image. When you have acnes, go to see dermatologist early is the safest way to heal and prevent future permanent scars. Acne can be caused by many factors such as overactive oil glands that produce too much oil, combine with skin cells to make pores in the skin, become plugged and p-acne bacteria cause acne disease. This project is developed in matlab using image processing.

Medicinal Leaf Recognition Using CNN Convolutional Neural Network Matlab Project With Source Code | Final Year Projects

 ABSTRACT

            Image processing is the recent growing technique in the world. It refers to the processing of digital images by means of a digital computer. Images play a major role in human perception. Image analysis is between image processing and computer vision. There are no clear boundaries for in continuum with image processing and computer vision. The useful paradigms for computerized process in determining the image is classified in to three types are low-level process: involve primitive operation such as image pre processing to reduce noise, image enhancement and image sharpening, mid-level: image segmentation and high-level: making sense of image recognized. Here image processing technique is used for medicinal purpose by extracting the features of herbal leaf and authenticating it medicinal qualities. Leaves play the major role for the classification of plants. The sample leaves are taken from various places, plants and shape. The image is captured and further work is carried out. Comparison of test sample image with reference not only requires an experienced but is subjective and prone to human errors. By applying advanced technique of image processing and utilizing the capabilities of the recent advanced computing and data/image storage facilities. The aim of the project is to classify and authenticate the medicinal plant materials and herbs widely used for Indian herbal medicinal preparation. The quality and authenticity of these leaves are to be ensured for the preparation of herbal medicines. The medicinal plant leaves are thoroughly screened, analyzed and compared with the database to give the correct measures of the texture to which category the leaf belongs to.
